K. Filling the watermattress

Connect the hose that you will be using to the tap 34

34. Connect the hose, that you will be using, to the tap. Rinse the inside of the hose and remove all the dirt inside by letting the water run for a minute. If you notice any traces of algae deposits, DO NOT USE this hose to fill your watermattress. Insert the hose at least 30cm inside the watermattress or use the adapter to screw the hose onto the pull cap.
Fill the mattress with clean tap water up to 30°C. Do NOT use water from a well, rainwater or any other surface-type water 35

35. Fill the watermattress with clean tap water up to 30°C. Do NOT use water from a well, rainwater or any other surface type water. In some cases a boiler will not be sufficient to fill the whole bed with warm water. The waterbed heater will warm up the rest of the water.

36. Fill the watermattress until the water level reaches 1 cm underneath the top of the foam rail. you can verify the water level by turning off the tap and having a look at the water level through the transparent pull cap. If necessary, you can use a long straight object to compare both edges with the level inside the pull cap.(36a)
