Do I unplug the heater in summer?
No. Even room temperature during summer isn't sufficient for the water in your water bed. Your water bed heating will only be activated very sporadically during the summer and therefore won't use that much power. By lowering the temperature just a few degrees the water bed will feel comfortably cool during those hot summer nights. A water bed temperature of 26°C should be considered as a minimum. Temperatures lower than that will draw too much warmth from your body. |
