New Vinyl means a leap ahead for T.T.I. in Bree

Entrepreneur Etienne Tilmans started his waterbed company 20 years ago.

T.T.I. , which stands for Tilmans Trading International, has grown up to be one of the global participants in its sector. T.T.I. exports beds all over Europe as well as outside of Europe.

Styles and systems may have changed throughout the years. The essence of the waterbed, the material which the mattress is made of remained the same for all those years. Modern technology has found its way to vinyl production and .... the consequences are revolutionary: The quality as well as the durability of the foil has tripled.

In previous years, T.T.I. has delivered quality work. We have tried our best to give our customers the satisfaction they deserve and we are still striving for better production methods. We expect the same input, enthusiasm, innovative attitude from our suppliers. Inevitably T.T.I. found a new partner in this evolution, a vinyl manufacturer who was willing to help to develop this optimization. For the first time in history of the waterbed (40 years) something revolutionary happened. The production method and properties of this new vinyl were thought impossible up till now. The material is stronger, more flexible and more durable, which is of great benefit to the end user especially.
The foil, is very versatile, manufactured in a renewed , more expensive but high-quality technique.

Durable

T.T.I. has performed some intensive tests, and the new system is truly astonishing. Most foils on the plastics market are initially designed as packaging foils or process foils. The new 4D-Foil was specifically designed for long term contact with water. We have had this vinyl researched in specialised institutes by renowned scientists. At first they were a bit sceptical towards this new foil but they soon had to admit that it was a great leap forward.

4D-Vinyl has a life span that's at least 3 times longer, it is more supple, stronger and completely inorganic, making it even more hygienic. We have the exclusivity of commercialising and processing this foil all over the world. Besides, the plastic is less pollutant for the industry and the environment.

To prove the strength of the new vinyl, an elephant of the world famous animal park Malter was placed on a water mattress in the Expodroom in Bree. The elephant called Suzy showed her best side, and the new waterbed vinyl withstood the test immaculately.
